  • The Department of Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT), established in 1984 with a one-year Diploma course, was later upgraded to a comprehensive two-year program in 2007. The course is designed to provide both theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential for modern laboratory practices.
  • We have established collaborations with reputed private hospitals to provide our students with hands-on training. In addition, regular internship programs are conducted at CSI Mission Hospital, Trichy to enhance their clinical exposure.
  • Students also visit KAPV Government Medical College as part of their curriculum to gain real-time technical experience, preparing them thoroughly for their board examinations.
  • Our training and placement cell has consistently achieved 100% placement for our graduates, highlighting the strength of our program and industry partnerships.
  • The department is actively involved in research activities, particularly in collaboration with our pharmacy department. These research initiatives are extended to scholars from various arts and science colleges, contributing to interdisciplinary advancements and innovations.
